The Knights of Columbus (KC) is a Catholic fraternal organization of men committed to putting their faith into action through service to the Church, defense of the Faith, and support of parish life through acts of charity, unity, and brotherhood.
The St. Mary’s Cathedral Council actively assists the parish through charitable works, fundraisers, and support for families in need, including widows. The Knights also upholds the dignity of life.
KC fundraisers - such as parish breakfasts, chili competitions, and caramel roll sales, etc. - help support seminarians, altar servers and youth group activities, pro-life initiatives (such as ultrasound sponsorship) and Cathedral needs. The Knights also serve as the Honor Guard at ordinations, funerals, and weddings, offering visible witness of faith and reverence.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Wanzek Center. The Holy Rosary is prayed beforehand at 6:30 PM in the Cathedral. Catholic men 18 and older are invited to join this brotherhood of faith and service.
Exodus 90 is a spiritual journey that challenges and strengthens men of all ages in faith, self-discipline, and brotherhood through daily prayer, asceticism, and fraternity. It draws on the penitential seasons of Lent and Advent to help men grow in freedom and deepen their relationship with God. Through this journey, men are formed into stronger leaders- spouses, fathers, and members of the parish and community.
Join us for Exodus Advent, a short spiritual journey to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. We will gather in the chapel entrance at 8:45am after 8:00 Mass on Saturdays, Dec 6, 13, & 20. Meetings will be in the Wanzek Center.
