      Addressing physical needs:
      1. Feed the hungry: Donate food or work at a food pantry.
      2. Give drink to the thirsty: Offer water to those in need.
      3. Clothe the naked: Participate in clothing drives for the needy.
      4. Shelter the homeless: Help someone find a place to stay.
      5. Visit the imprisoned: Join the local, jail ministry team.
      6. Care for the sick: Attend to those who are ill.
      7. Bury the dead: Ensure the deceased are respectfully laid to rest.

    • Spiritual Works of Mercy


      Addressing emotional and spiritual needs:
      1. Instruct the ignorant: Share the faith and speak truth in charity.
      2. Counsel the doubtful: Encourage and guide the uncertain.
      3. Admonish the sinner: Encourage repentance with truth and love.
      4. Bear wrongs patiently: Endure wrongs without gossiping or retaliation.
      5. Forgive all injuries: Forgive promptly and pray for the one who hurt you.
      6. Comfort the afflicted: Offer compassion and hope to the suffering.
      7. Pray for the living and the dead: Lift others up to God in prayer.
