  • Knights of the Altar

    • Knights of the Altar is for boys and young men who wish to serve for Holy Mass. As altar servers, they assist the priest at the altar and learn the sacred order and solemn beauty of the liturgy while growing in reverence, virtue, responsibility and leadership.

Boys (3rd-12th grade) who have received their First Holy Communion and have been confirmed are invited to join.

Altar server training is the first Saturday of the month (Oct-Apr) from 10:00-11:30am (pizza after the training). New servers are paired with experienced ones as they learn. Opportunities to serve are Sunday and weekday Masses, funerals and weddings.

At the end of the year, the boys go on retreat.

  • Handmaids & Mary Marthas

    • Handmaids and Mary Marthas is a vibrant community of young ladies in grades 4-12. United in their desire to live a virtuous life, they appreciate their dignity as beloved daughters of the Heavenly Father, celebrate their femininity, learn about virtues and the saints, strive to understand womanhood in relationship with our Heavenly Father and our Lady, and learn practical ways to serve in the parish and community. United in friendship, faithfulness, and joyful service, the group seeks to imitate our Lady’s humble declaration “I am the handmaid of the Lord” and to live in the spirit of Sts. Mary and Martha through prayer and active love.

Meetings take place the first Saturday of the month (October-May) from 10:00am-11:30/noon in the Cathedral Social Hall or Wanzek Center.

      • Learn about parish ministries

      • Take field trips
      • Baking activities
